Mobile Phone Compatibility

The low cost CallBlue international travel SIM works with nearly all mobile phones as long as they have been UNLOCKED (your service provider will do this for you).

If you have bought a mobile phone in the last 4 years or so there should be no problems with the CallBlue Travel SIM working with your phone.

Your mobile phone needs to be ‘unlocked’ to use the CallBlue low cost travel SIM

To find out whether your phone is unlocked, insert a SIM card from a different network into your phone. If it operates normally, it is unlocked. If not, you can ask your operator for an 'unlock code' which it is obliged to give you, though conditions and charges may apply.

Alternatively you can unlock your mobile phone yourself by taking your handset to an independent phone shop or by trying one of the independent unlocking web sites.

If you have an older mobile phone you can still use a travel SIM to make and receive calls abroad cheaply

There may be occasions on very early model mobile phones that even though your phone is unlocked, CallBlue GSM low cost travel SIM may not work. If this is the case, do not worry. You can still use the CallBlue GSM global SIM card. All you need to do is enter the number you wish to call prefixed with *125*1*COUNTRYCODE&NUMBER#. For example, if you wished to call the following number in the UK 07624 139 363 you would need to dial: *125*1*447624139363#
